- Animal Industry Foundation (AIF) - The Animal Industry Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit education foundation established to educate consumers about U.S. animal agriculture and its contributions to the public's quality of life. AIF provides information on modern animal agriculture relating to animal well-being, nutrition, food safety and the environment, and serves as the national source for animal agriculture education programs.
- Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB) - The Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB) was founded in 1936 to promote the study of animal behaviour, and membership is open to all who share this interest. Membership of ASAB now numbers approximately 1600, most of whom are drawn from Britain and Europe. - Coalition for Education in the Life Sciences (CELS) - The Coalition for Education in the Life Sciences (CELS) is a national coalition of professional societies in the biological sciences that have joined together in an effort to improve undergraduate education in the life sciences.
- National Association of Biology Teachers (NABT) - The National Association of Biology Teachers (NABT) was formed in 1938 and incorporated in 1956. Our membership is comprised of more than 7000 biology educators and administrators - representing all grade levels - from the U.S. and abroad. We are the only national association dedicated exclusively to the concerns of biology and life science educators.

- American Society for Nutritional Sciences (ASNS) ASNS is the premier research society dedicated to improving the quality of life through the science of nutrition. The Society fulfills its mission by: fostering and enhancing research in animal and human nutrition; providing opportunities for sharing, disseminating, and archiving peer-reviewed nutrition research results; fostering quality education and training in nutrition; upholding standards for ethical behavior in research, the protection of human subjects, and the care and treatment of research animals; providing opportunities for fellowship and support among nutritionists; and bringing scientific knowledge to bear on nutrition issues through communication and influence in the public domain.

- American Association for Clinical Chemistry, Inc. (AACC) - AACC is an international scientific/medical society of clinical laboratory professionals, physicians, research scientists and other individuals involved with clinical chemistry and other clinical laboratory science-related disciplines who use chemical processes in a clinical setting to evaluate patient health.
- The American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) - The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) is a nonprofit scientific and educational organization with over 9,000 members. Most members teach and conduct research at colleges and universities. Others conduct research in various government laboratories, nonprofit research institutions and industry.
- American Society for Microbiology (ASM) - The American Society for Microbiology is the oldest and largest single life science membership organization in the world. - Society for General Microbiology (SGM) - Founded in 1945, the Society for General Microbiology is a prestigious learned society serving the interests of microbiologists worldwide. It has over 5000 members, of whom about two thirds are resident in the UK, with the remainder living in more than 60 other countries. The majority of Society members are employees of universities, research institutes, health services, government agencies and companies varying from small to multinational.
Zoology
- International Society for Anthrozoology (ISAZ) - ISAZ was founded in 1991 as a supportive organization for the study of human-animal interactions. ISAZ has a world-wide membership of professionals and students who are actively engaged in research directed towards increasing understanding of relationships between people and animals.
North American Benthological Society (NABS) - NABS is an international scientific organization whose purpose is to promote better understanding of the biotic communities of lake and stream bottoms and their role in aquatic ecosystems, by providing media and disseminating new investigation results, new interpretations, and other benthological information to aquatic biologists and to the scientific community at large.
- Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB) - SICB (formerly the American Society of Zoologists) is one of the largest and most prestigious professional associations of its kind.
