- American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) - ASEE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving all aspects of engineering education. - American Society for Precision Engineering (ASPE) - ASPE is a multidisciplinary professional and technical society concerned with research and development, design, manufacture and measurement of high accuracy components and systems. ASPE activities encompass relevant aspects of mechanical, electronic, optical and production engineering, physics, chemistry, and computer and materials science.
- Society of Engineering Science (SES) - SES has been organized as a non-profit membership corporation under the laws of the State of Illinois, to foster and promote the interchange of ideas and information among the various fields of engineering science and the fields of theoretical and applied physics, chemistry, mathematics, bioengineering and related scientific and engineering fields.
- Society for Women Engineers (SWE) - The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) stimulates women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expands the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrates the value of diversity.
Chemical Engineering
- Air and Waste Management Association (AWMA) - AWMA assists in the professional development and critical environmental decision making of our members to benefit society and to enhances environmental knowledge and provide quality information on which to base environmental decisions.
- American Chemical Society (ASC) - The ACS was founded in 1876 and is a not-for-profit organization. There are 34 ACS divisions, representing a wide range of disciplines for chemists, chemical engineers and technicians. The Society is recognized as a world leader in fostering scientific education and research, and promoting public understanding of science.
- American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) - AIChE is a 55,000+ member nonprofit organization that provides leadership in the chemical engineering profession. AIChE develops programs to advance the theory and practice of the profession, uphold high professional standards and ethics, and support excellence in education.
- Materials Research Society (MRS) - MRS is dedicated to goal-oriented basic and applied research on materials of technological importance. MRS emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach to materials science and engineering, inspiring cooperation among scientists from industry, academia, and government.
- Society of Chemical Industry (SCI) - SCI is an international association of individual members with headquarters in London. Ever since its foundation in 1881, SCI's principal object has been to further the application of chemistry and related sciences for the public benefit. The Society provides an important interface between industrial, academic and other interests.
Civil/Environmental Engineering
- American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) - ASCE is committed to advancing the practice of Civil Engineering and furthering professional knowledge. ASCE accomplishes those goals in three ways: as the lead professional organization serving Civil Engineers and those in related disciplines; as the focal point for development and transfer of research results, and technical, policy and managerial information; and as the catalyst for effective and efficient service through cooperation with other engineering and related organizations.
- Association of Environmental Engineering Professors (AEEP) - AEEP is made up of and serves professors in North American academic programs providing education in environmental engineering and related fields.
- American Water Works Association (AWWA) - AWWA is an international nonprofit scientific and educational society dedicated to the improvement of drinking water quality and supply. Its more than 50,000 members represent the full spectrum of the drinking water community: treatment plant operators and managers, scientists, environmentalists, manufacturers, academicians, regulators, and others who hold genuine interest in water supply and public health.
- International Association on Water Quality (IAWQ) - IAWQ is a professional membership association dedicated to the advancement of the science and practice of water pollution control and water quality management worldwide.
- Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) - ICE is a UK-based international organisation with 80,000 members ranging from professional civil engineers to students, a fifth of whom live outside the UK in some 140 countries.

- American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA ) - The nonprofit American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is the principal society and voice serving the aerospace profession. Its primary purpose is to advance the arts, sciences, and technology of aeronautics and astronautics and to foster and promote the professionalism of those engaged in these pursuits.
- Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) - ACM (founded 1947) is an international scientific and educational organization dedicated to advancing the art, science, engineering, and application of information technology, serving both professional and public interests by fostering the open interchange of information and by promoting the highest professional and ethical standards.
- Electrochemical Society (ECS) - The Electrochemical Society is an international nonprofit, educational, organization concerned with a broad range of phenomena relating to electrochemical and solid state science and technology.
- Electronic Industries Association (EIA) - Representing the entire spectrum of U.S. electronics manufacturing, EIA's members range from companies that produce the smallest electronic parts to multinational corporations that design and manufacture the most complex systems used by industry, defense, space and consumers.
- Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) - the technical objectives of the IEEE focus on advancing the theory and practice of electrical, electronics and computer engineering and computer science. To realize these objectives, the IEEE sponsors technical conferences, symposia and local meetings worldwide: publishes nearly 25% of the world's technical papers in electrical, electronics and computer engineering; provides educational programs to keep its members' knowledge and expertise state-of-the-art.
- International Society for Molecular Electronics and BioComputing (ISMEBC) - ISMEBC is a non-profit international society which fosters the interdisciplinary study of molecular electronics, ionics and photonics and information processing in natural and artificial molecular and biomolecular systems. The Society promotes both fundamental and applied research.
- Joint Electron Device Engineering Council (JEDEC) - JEDEC is the semiconductor engineering standardization body of the Electronic Industries Association (EIA), a trade association that represents all areas of the electronics industry

- American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) - Nondestructive testing (NDT) is the examination of an object with technology that does not affect the object's future usefulness. - American Automatic Control Council (AACC) - AACC is a federation of Member societies. - Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) - Members work in research, design, development, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, contracting, consulting and teaching, in fields as diverse as lubrication, satellite launching, surgical implants and in power stations.
Technology Education and Construction Management
- American Concrete Institute (ACI) - ACI International members are the professional experts in the field of concrete design and construction. They represent the engineering and architectural professions, contractors and materials producers, and government and higher education.
- American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) - AISC is a non-profit association representing and serving the fabricated structural steel industry in the U.S. Its purpose is to expand the use of fabricated structural steel through research and development, education, technical assistance, standardization and quality control.
- International Facility Management Association (IFMA) - Established in 1980, the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) is a not-for-profit, incorporated association dedicated to serving the facility management profession. IFMA's vision is to be the leader in promoting excellence in the management of the work environment.
- Society for the History of Technology (SHOT) - SHOT was formed in 1958 to encourage the study and teaching of the history of technology and its relations with society and culture. It is a nonprofit, independent, interdisciplinary organization, concerned not only with the history of technological devices and processes, but also with the relations of technology to politics, economics, labor, business, the environment, public policy, science, and the arts.
